In the evening on another day. Major Khaled Musharraf suddenly came to our office. After discussion wiih Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury he saw me and ordered to accompany him. I got up in the back of his jeep. Another man also got up, but I could not remember his name. On the way Major khaled Moshairaf talked many things. After dusk we reached Montuli camp. Capt. Ayenuddin was the sector commander of that camp. It was moonlit night. The freedom fighters were waiting in rows. Major Khaled Musharraf gave a brief lecture to them, said, "Now Bangladesh is in difficult position". Before we could identify our enemies. Bus new the Bengalese could not run operation inside Bangladesh. The Razakars caught hold of the freedom fighters. We sent our guerillas with only grenades. They also charged grenades, but they could not return saving their own fives. Because they had no other aims. Therefore we supplied the guerillas stenguns and pistols so that they could save their lives. Besides we could not arrange sufficient training, because after training it became impossible to stick them. They became mad for arms. The Indian Government was not supplying arms. Therefore we had to run the training course in slow motion. We were arranging to give short course training to some of our young men and sending them inside the country as guerillas. They were called foundation force, If necessary, they would act as razakars and assist our guerillas for safety and exchange of news.
After taking meal Mr. Khaled Mosharaf started from they’re towards Sector No. I and arranged our return 10 Agartala in another vehicle. We reached Agartala at night at about 3.00 a.m. The speech he delivered that day is still in my memory. He was brutally killed in such a favorite independent country. He was blamed as collaborator of India. I saw him many Limes to oppose Indian army for the sate of Bangladesh.
From about May to September, long five months I was very busy at Agartala in me activities, particularly in relief work of Mujibnugar Government. Before going for operation 2 / 1 guerilla group of Brahmanbaria areas used to meet me at my Krishranagar office of Agartala. During such time I used to exchange my communication with father and mother through them. We also held discussion about operation of our areas. They also took my advice many times. I would request them to bring the razakars in the group of the freedom fighters possibly without killing them. That time such incidences happened in many places. They were defeated in the fight with the freedom fighters and later on tumid into Freedom fighters. Afterwards with sincerity and frost they resisted the Pak aggressors. According to my request they did not kill the razakars of our areas. Getting opportunity they became cautious. Of course these collaborators did not harm much in our village and neighboring villages. After liberation some of men embraced me and expressed gratefulness for safely of their lives. Of course. They killed some of the traitor collaborators.
Through these guerillas I informed my father in the village of my condition and father also stated his condition through handing over fetter through them. One day may be at the end of September they, after completion of their operation in the areas, came with a reply from my father. That letter was exceptional. In every line of the letter there were descriptions of anxieties and fears in the mind of my father. My father wrote. "You have gone to Agartala. The people of this area have already come to know about your activities They have warned me and ordered to make you available here us you are now busy in Agartala in the work of freedom fighting. If I cannot make you available I will be in difficult position. Dear son, either you go away from Agartala or return to us. We are in great anxieties, in any day the army may attack us."
The letter of my father threw me in very anxieties. Everyone was in home, my little sister Aleya was also there. What and when the razakars would do, nobody knew. Again and again I was reading the letter. One time I found solution in the letter of my father. I thought that the reason night be if I left the place my father could tell the razakars that my son was not in Agartala and if I got back he might say that their information was not correct. That might to thinking of my father, but in my thinking it was not possible to go back, because the Razakars got the right information. If I went there, they would surly kill me. Other through coercion and oppression they would try to get the information. The second alternative fur me was to go away from Agartala.
Since the result of the statement of my father was the same by going away or retiming home. Therefore I took decision to save my father, mother, brother and sister at home. I had to go elsewhere from Agartala where from the razakars of my area would not be able to know my position- In the midst of such position I got an opportunity one day.
